I have been working on my "Urban Groove Project", a new approach to create futuristic "Urban life theme" to the piece of composition and music visualization from 1996 to 2001. In this insightful project, I derive my inspiration from various musicians back in that era included Incognito, Jamiroquai, Maxwell, George Benson and Roy Ayers.I perceived their musical styles as "extremely tight" and "energetic". I was intended to convergent the above elements in my Urban Jazz/soul/house groove.One of my favorite album is "Nuyorican Soul"by Masters At Work" which introduced in 1997.This inspired me so much to create all elements of Afro-Latin influenced music. At this time, I met east bay residence DJ Kobie who knows all about tasteful soul music that we decided to collaborate together. We quickly established own independent production called "Metroarts Record & Production"and Kenneth Hung joined as a art director in 1998. We had produced 5 full albums over 4 years without any major contract. After a few years, I was introduced to the above musicians, I truthfully felt integrated, that triggered my initial approach to merge my music style to Crossover(Urban Jazz/Soul/Deep house). I finally realized my intention to create music is to let the listeners to relax and set free their inner mindsets.

"This new groove project is very tight jazzy soulful house,which is based on Afro influenced beat with full of passion. This is focused on to create true soulful house music.
